The application of CreteFlexo-42 is straightforward, but it is important to follow proper guidelines to ensure optimal performance and durability. Below are the recommended steps for efficient application:
Prepare the Surface:
Before using CreteFlexo-42, the surface should be prepared first. Ensure that you scrape off the entire region where you want to apply the filler. In case of the oily spots within the procedure clean with any relevant solvent and wait for the surface to dry.
Application :
Inject the CreteFlexo-42 sealant into a portable pressurized dispenser known commonly as the caulking gun. Pass the sealant carefully and uniformly on the joint in such a manner that it covers the entire gap alongside walls. In large joints, to control the depth of sealant and for better bonding you should use backer rod.
Curing and Drying
CreteFlexo-42 is a moisture curing product and it harden when exposed to air borne humidity. The constant temperature and the relative humidity should be very standard, and the curing usually takes 24-48 hrs at the most. One should effectively allow enough time for the sealant to have cured enough before one can put it under stress or moisture.
